I\’ve experimented with the Swing dial on various drummers but the beats are just too square. I see that Apple released new hip hop drummer which is great if you\’re into that music but what about bebop and swing or even free jazz?

I just simplify the drums down to just the ride then record to the tempo then ad drums back in when I have the groove. Aug 26, PM. Addictive Drums do the best jazz loops in my view but the outlay is high. I\’m certainly gonna investigate the Apple midi-loops mentioned above. Aug 23, AM. LPX\’s Drummer doesn\’t really do Jazz. So the \’Follow\’ really just generates the sound of a Rock drummer attempting to play Jazz – not ideal.
